nUbuntu 8.04 is currently in the alpha-stage of development, and no date for a final release has been set. It will be based on Ubuntu 8.04 LTS (Hardy Heron) and feature much of the same tools that came with nUbuntu 6.10, of course updated, as well as additional features.
FluxBox will be the default window manager and the only one included on the Live CD. Other window managers will be available through the Ubuntu repositories.
